The importance of internal communication became much more pronounced in 2021, and it had to be aligned to the hybrid working model. We elected to use the intranet, which became one of the most important communication tools during the pandemic. We also developed our video productions, and an international jury showed its appreciation for that. LOTOS won an award (1st place in the Human Resources subcategory) at the international FilmAT Festival in the corporate and institutional film category. 2021 also saw many investment topics such as the launch of HBO and VETNI projects. Nevertheless, communication regarding the upcoming stages of the merger with PKN Orlen continued to be the top priority.
