The importance of internal communication became much more pronounced in 2021, and it had to be aligned to the hybrid working model. We elected to use the intranet, which became one of the most important communication tools during the pandemic. We also developed our video productions, and an international jury showed its appreciation for that. LOTOS won an award (1st place in the Human Resources subcategory) at the international FilmAT Festival in the corporate and institutional film category. 2021 also saw many investment topics such as the launch of HBO and VETNI projects. Nevertheless, communication regarding the upcoming stages of the merger with PKN Orlen continued to be the top priority.

Rewards and distinctions awarded to the LOTOS Group in 2021
- Grupa LOTOS won at the international FilmAT Festival in the corporate and institutional film category. The jury of this year’s 16th FilmAT Festival awarded the first prize in the “Human Resources” sub-category to the film entitled “LOTOS is a woman”.
- Grupa LOTOS received a special price as part of the 25th Pomeranian TOP 100 Ranking. The editorial board of “Dziennik Bałtycki” recognized the company “for building a recognizable brand”.
- Grupa LOTOS once again confirmed the high quality of its retail chain. The company had significant success in the Service Station of the Year competition. When the winners were announced during the PetroTrend 2021 Fuel Market Forum in Warsaw, Grupa LOTOS had no equals in as many as 5 categories. MOP Pawliki received the award for the best highway service station and for the best coffee concept. The jury also awarded three LOTOS partnership stations located in Krosno, Białystok and Rozogi.
- Grupa LOTOS received the “Leader 2020” award in the Industry 4.0 category. The jury of the TechnoBiznes competition organized by Gazeta Bankowa distinguished the company for creating LDAR, a production equipment monitoring system
- LOTOS Serwis received the title of “Employer Friendly to Gdansk Vocational School 2021”. For more than 7 years, LOTOS Serwis has taken an active approach to the vocational training process. The company’s employees develop curricula tailored to the needs of the organization and conduct both practical and theoretical vocational classes. Students from the Communications School Complex participate in internships and apprenticeships at the refinery.
- LOTOS Kolej received a prestigious Intermodal Transport Leader statue during the 9th FRACHT Intermodal Transport Forum.
- LOTOS Kolej took the first place among rail carriers in the 26th edition of the TSL Ranking organized by Dziennik Gazeta Prawna. The ranking included the most important companies representing the transport, forwarding and logistics sectors.
- The 2021 Industry Leader of Responsible Business – Grupa LOTOS was victorious in the 15th edition of the Responsible Business Ranking in the “fuels, energy, mining” category. The company was 6th in the overall ranking.
- Grupa LOTOS was awarded CSR Silver Leaf in the 10th ranking of socially responsible companies for 2020 organized by Polityka weekly.
- The Integrated Annual Report of the LOTOS Group took the 3rd place in the “Companies” category in “The Best Annual Report” competition. The comprehensive and reliable presentation LOTOS’s performance was recognized by the jury of this prestigious ranking.
